SUMMARY:
School-age children who live on Fort Lee attend Prince George County Public Schools. Five additional school districts surround
Fort Lee; Chesterfield County, Colonial Heights, Hopewell City, Petersburg City, and Dinwiddie County. Families who choose to
reside off-post are strongly encouraged to research the schools in the surrounding districts, including local childcare options if
need be, prior to selecting a place to live since school districts generally do not allow out of district enrollment. Fort Lee School
Support Services can assist in determining the school in which your residence serves as well as providing private and home
school information.
