WHERE DO WE
GO FROM HERE?
On April 28, 2015, the UCLA
community came together to
commemorate the 50th anniversary
of Dr. King’s 1965 visit, thereby
designating the fourth Tuesday of April each year as MLK
Remembrance MLK Day at UCLA.
MLK Remembrance Day was
established utilizing the legacy
of Dr. King and UCLA to examine
current and historical events and
effect positive change.
MLK Remembrance Day 2017 asks,
“where do we go from here?” and
Offers film, workshops,
and panels to help us understand how to use MLK’s legacy to navigate our times.
Dr. Martin Luther King addresses UCLA students
from Janss Steps Tuesday, April 27 1965.
