 Place Value- 6 digit numbers, negative number and 6 digit
problems. Subtracting mentally, written addition and
subtraction and subtracting decimals.

 Multiplication- TU x TU using grid and expanded written
method, Division of HTU with decimal and fraction
remainders
 Ordering, adding and subtracting fractions
 Decimals- ordering, rounding and problem solving


As scientists we will be learning about:
 Space -The movement of the Earth, moon and other
planets, relative to each other and the Sun in the solar
system
 Exploring how the Earth’s rotation explains day and night
and the apparent movement of the sun across the sky
 Features of planets and rockets
 Life Cycles- life cycles of mammals, an amphibian, an
insect and birds
 The life process of reproduction in some plants and
animals

