Extend and crook index finger of dominant hand, palm facing
away from body. Tap index finger against cheek, twice.
Use natural gesture to show the type of ride. For ride a horse – see “Horse
Riding”. *Must make sense visually. Ride a horse, ride a bicycle, ride a
scooter.
Place both open hands in front of body, palms down. Brush dominant hand
under non-dominant hand as dominant hand moves forward. *Sign may be
varied to show different aspects: in a tree, a box, a cup, etc.

Place extended dominant index and middle fingers over extended nondominant index finger, bounce twice. To ‘ride a horse’ – move formation
forward from body.
Extend index fingers of both hands. Quickly tap index finger
of dominant hand onto index finger of non-dominant hand.
Open both hands, hold above side of head, palms forward,
wriggle fingers while moving hands in a zig-zag formation.
Place both open hands in front of body, palms down. Brush dominant hand
under non-dominant hand as dominant hand moves forward. *Sign may be

direction. Finish with straight fingers. *With directionality.
Clap heels of open cupped hands together twice,
hands moving in small outward circles.
Move dominant fist in small circles towards body,
hitting twice on non-dominant fist.

away. Move index finger down in an arc to non-dominant side, like the sun
