And with that comes the Junior Golf activities of the year. Derrick and I (Matt Love), have many exciting events for your junior golfers to participate in this spring and summer. Junior’s are a key component to the golf industry today. Not only are our golfers going to be able to meet new friends through these programs, but they learn: etiquette, patience, goodwill, integrity and fairness to name a few. Juniors can take the game of golf anywhere they go, and play it for a lifetime. As a golf staff we strive for your involvement in playing and participating in the golf environment. The golf staff will host junior clinics weekly on Saturday late mornings starting in April until school lets out. Starting in June, clinics will be available on Friday’s at a similar time. The staff will also conduct two Junior Camps this year, June 29th July 2nd and July 6th - July 9th. These are great ways to keep juniors involved with golf, and also learn about the golf swing and etiquette. There are many exciting opportunities for juniors this year to improve, and most importantly, have fun at WCC. For the first time this year we will be providing the opportunity for members and guest to participate in a US Kids Fit Day. This will allow all area juniors to learn what US Kids is all about, receive free instruction, and be able to get fitted with US Kids equipment. Call the Waynesboro Country Club Golf Shop today, at (540) 942-9340 to sign up for these wonderful junior golf activities. Just a few more months before the excitement begins. Sincerely, Waynesboro Country Club Golf Staff Junior Clinics Grow your junior’s game from the ground up.
