Terminal Feature :
Please be advised that, all banks issue 2 type of cards.
Normal Card
Chip Card
Purchase Transactions
Using the Point of Sale Terminal with Normal Cards
Using the Point of Sale Terminal with Chip Cards
Void Transaction
Press <Menu> Button.
Select Void option from The Menu .
PASSWORD 1111 and Press <Enter> {Green Button}
Enter the Receipt no and Press <Enter> {Green Button} Twice
Reports
To get your Total Business Report and to clear the Point of Sale Terminal at the end of every
working day, please follow the following procedure:
Press <Menu> Button
Press < REPORT>
input the SuperVisor PASSWORD {1111} and Press <Enter> {Green Button}
Press < DETAIL> {this option provide all the transaction which be done by the POS}
Press < Summary > { this option provide the total of the transaction }
Press < Pre Receipt > { this option to review all the TRANX with Pre Receipt TRANX
which you need to complete it }
Duplicats Sale Slips – Reprint (Another copy)
In Brief if you wants to take a duplicate copy of Last Transaction, you can follow this: Press <Menu> Button
Press < REPRINT> Button
If you want to reprint the last transaction press <Enter> Green Button twice. If if is not
the last transaction
Press Zero. (0) Button
Enter the Receipt Number (Receipt number can be found in the Details
Report)
press <Enter> Green Button twice.
Pre Receipt Completions
Kindly note all the Pre Receipt transactions has to be completed.
Press <Menu> Button
Press <PRE RECEIPT COMPLETION>
Enter Receipt No. (This No. you may find in the Pre Receipt Reports)
Enter Tip Amount { Not more than 50% of the TRANX }
Press Enter and you will get the Pre receipt completion receipt.
End of Day – SETTLE
To get your Total Business Report and to clear the Point of Sale Terminal at the end of every
working day, please follow the following procedure:
Press <Menu> Button
Press < SETTLE> Button
ENTER SuperVisor PASSWORD {1111}
Press <Enter> {Green Button} Twice
Note : the Message " Batch Full Settle " , means you should do the settle to countinue
Using the P.O.S and doing the TRANX
Note:
Prior to use the card on the EPOST, if you receive a card that looks suspecious or if you feel
that the person presenting the card is not displaying a normal behaviour, you are requested
to kindly call NBAD – Card Centre on the following number: (02) 4104888.
Few Error Messages
1. Not Sufficient Fund - Not sufficient money on the C/H account. Do not accept the card.
2. Do not Honor- This means, the card is blocked for some reason. Do not accept the card.
3. Pickup / Stolen Card - Do not accept the card.
4. System Malfunction-The system is down, merchant has to call the bank for further clarification.
5. Issuer Switch in-operative-This message comes when Card Issuing Bank’s system
is down. Do not accept card.
6. Socket Fail- Please Restart POS , if you are getting the same problem, call bank.
7. Switch Off – Press and hold Red Key.
8. Switch On – Press and hold Green Key.
Check SIM Signal
There could be the signal issue at the location, since all the POS Terminals are getting the signals from the same
Etisalat tower, you may get the Check SIM signal from the few POS Terminals. If you change the location of the POS
Terminal; you may get the proper signal. Just try changing the location of the terminal and if you are getting the same
issue again we will check the POST.
Battery Level
There is an indicator led on the POS Terminal; if it is green the POST can be used for doing the transaction. If the light
is red; battery level is low and may not used for any transaction. To check the battery level accurately; you may have to
restart the POS Terminal. As soon as POS Terminal switch on; it displays battery level.
