The Apostles’ Creed
(8:00) Dr. Amy Morgan
(11:00) Rev. Susan Allen Grady
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ
his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
uffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from
the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
A Morning Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer
(8:00) Dr. Morgan
(11:00) Rev. Allen Grady
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us
from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

TO OUR GUESTS . . .
We welcome you to Oak Grove Church and are delighted that you have chosen to
worship with us. Traditional worship services are held in the Sanctuary at 8:30 and 11:00
a.m., and a contemporary service is held in Fellowship Hall at 9:35 a.m. Each service has its
own style of worship, and we encourage you to visit all three. We also have a variety of
Sunday school classes meeting in our education wing from 9:35 to 10:45 a.m. First-time
guests are invited to pick up a visitor’s packet in the portico commons, located at the back
entrance behind the Sanctuary.
Children have a special place at Oak Grove. For your peace of mind, parents’ cell
phone numbers are recorded for those with infants or for parents who feel they may need to
be reached during the service. Please see one of the children’s workers for more information.
