TEACHING THE PERSON TO FEEL Connected WITH US is an
integral pillar of Gentle Teaching. Connections are what make
us human and able to interact and network with others and our
environment. Arcane continues to support its individuals in the
community facilitating and cultivating our unique spirit of
connection and engagement as a company and an extended
family. This theme of connections and community will be found
throughout this issue of The Four Pillars.

Although Marielle has now moved onwards we
would like to thank her for her tireless efforts to build
and grow our community. The memories of her time as
Day Program Coordinator will forever be kept in our
hearts. Without Marielle’s hard work we would have
never achieved our company’s biggest fundraising event
to DATE! See page 5 for the pictures.
Here they are getting their accolades
for their tremendous effort. Congrats to
Heather and Colin for their National Special
Olympics achievements! Colin’s neck is heavy
with the fruit of his labours.

On June 23rd Arcane held our annual BBQ in Kildonan
Park. As always the food was delicious and the company
even more appetizing. Thanks to all who came out and
volunteered to put this event together.

Arcanian Friends and Families were out partying with Justin Beiber when he was in town for our 2016
Steak Night Fundraiser. With the tireless efforts of all the volunteers who so generously worked around
the clock we raised over $10,000 for the individuals we support!!!!!! We broke fundraising records and
hearts on April 28th
DANCE Parties
Our community dances hosted with Pulford Community
Living continued throughout the year. Hundreds of
pizzas and awesome dance moves were served up.
Stayed tuned for a special announcement from the
planning committee and thanks to all the hard work of
all those who helped make it possible every month. We
will be resuming dances as of September after taking
the summer months off!
Thanks to all the helpers who make it happen behind the scenes!
ARC”S MUSIC MERGE
UPDATE
Music groups 1 and 2 as well as the Karaoke
Klub continued to fill the Arcane Office with
sweet sweet music. Talk to the Day Program
Coordinator if you are interested in trying
Karaoke!
Tobey and friends
Tobey is the latest addition to the Arcane Office
staff. He is highly trained and qualified and specializes
in extra fuzzy hugs. Stay tuned for when he’ll be
around the office to come say Hi or join us on a walk
around the neighborhood.
