Puerta Plata is a beautiful city on the Atlantic Ocean, famous for
its many resorts. The golden sands and turquoise waters offer
scenic views and relaxation. Notable sights include the fortification Fortaleza San Felipe, and an aerial tram ride up the local
mountain Pico Isabel de Torres, where you will find a botanical
garden, and a replica statue of Rio de Janiero’s Christ the Redeemer.
