Guidelines for Lab works
1. Lab Technical officers at different shops will guide the students to carry out the
aforementioned jobs.
2. Students must follow all the safety measures and rules of the specific lab/ shop.
3. Students are required to submit a report about the activities performed in different
shops, at the end of the laboratory work for evaluation followed by viva-voce. The
course instructor will declare the date for the same.
4. The report should contain, for each shop/operations:
a. Theory and working principle
b. Description of tools used
c. Detail procedure of operation
d. Figures/ drawings/ symbols of the job piece and operation
e. Deviations/ error calculations
f. Conclusion
5. Students should prepare a well formatted hand written report. Use A4 sheet with
margins on all the four corners (20 mm on left, and 10 mm on other 3 sides). Use only
single side of the paper.
