Vine Street Batting Cage – Rental Rules to Know
Facility needs to be left how you found it!
Located at 110 Vine Street
Stop in to Susnig Center during normal hours of operation to reserve the cage!
MUST pay at time of reservation; NO EXCEPTIONS!
Hours: M-Th 7am-7pm, F 7am-3pm, Sa 8am-4pm & Su 1pm-5pm
Can call JPRD (498.2222) to check on available dates and times prior to coming
reserve in-person.
Fee is $15.00 per hour with a $5 cash key/ball deposit. Deposit must be left at
time of key pick-up.
No refunds will be provided!
If cancellation is made within 48 hours of originally scheduled time, paid
reservation can be transferred to another day/time.
Limited to two, one hour reservations per week.
Key must be picked-up no earlier than 15 minutes prior to rental and dropped off
no later than 15 minutes after rental, otherwise $5 cash deposit will be forfeited.
Baseball/Softball bucket will be picked up and returned the same time as key. All
balls need to be returned in bucket, otherwise $5 cash deposit will be forfeited.
If heat temperature is turned up, HEAT MUST BE TURNED BACK DOWN TO 55
DEGREES PRIOR TO EXITING!
Everyone must pay (individual, team, etc.); no exceptions.
Only one team is allowed at a time.
Do not enter areas other than cage and bathroom. (equipment room, upstairs,
etc.)
Facility must be cleaned up after rental. (balls, trash, restrooms, etc.)
No one is allowed to take practice swings outside the cage.
No more than one batter with one bat is allowed in the cage at a time.
Helmet must be worn at all times while in the cage.
No running in the facility.
No one may feed balls into the pitching machine without wearing a protective
helmet; or must be standing behind the protective screen.
No one may operate the pitching machine under the age of 18.
All players MUST be supervised by an adult at ALL times.
Using cage and/or facility is done at individuals own risk.
Parking allowed on WEST side of Vine Street and in building’s gravel parking
area. DO NOT block driveways or park on the EAST side of the Vine Street!!!
SMOKING (E-CIG INCLUDED) IS NOT PREMITTED IN ANY CITY FACILITY!
ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED IN ANY CITY FACILITY/PARK!
Failure to follow any of the facility rules will lead to dismissal.
