THE SAINT ROSE OF LIMA SOCIETY will meet this Sunday, July 19th at 2PM. THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS ANNUAL CLAMBOIL AND RAFFLE IS QUICKLY APPROACHING!!! Come join us on July 25th!!! Tickets are $25 and are available after all Masses from members of the Knights and/or at the rectory. Flyers are available in the Church Hall. ST. MICHAEL’S SCHOOL at 209 Essex St., Fall River is now accepting registrations for the 2015-2016 academic year for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8. Need based scholarship funds can be applied for through the St. Mary’s Education Scholarship Fund and through the Dorothy Vaill Scholarship which can be found on the Holy Union Sisters website: www.holyunionsisters.org. THE FAMILY OF AUGUSTINE VIVEIROS (Fr. Joe’s Brother) has requested that any contributions in his memory be made to Our Lady of Grace Church, 569 Sanford Road, Westport, MA 02790 St John of God Feast: The annual St. John of God Feast (996 Brayton Av in Somerset) will be held this weekend July 17 & 18 (5-‐11pm) and July 19 (3-‐10pm). Our procession is on July 19th at 3pm. We will have Games, Auctions, Raffles, Music, Portuguese Bazaar, Portuguese & American Food, Polish Food, Malassadas Every Day, Homemade Pies & Desserts. This year we on Friday and Saturday from 5:30-‐8:30pm we are sponsoring Kid-‐A-‐ Palooza which will be entertainment, activities, games, and crafts for children & families. On Friday from 6-‐8pm we will have characters from Frozen & Superheroes, and on Saturday starting at 6:30pm we will have a MAD Science Demonstration. We will also have Pony Rides on Friday and Saturday from 6-‐8pm. ANYONE INTERESTED IN ACQUIRING A DRUM SET? IF SO, IT IS FREE!!!! PLEASE SEE PETER OR CALL THE RECTORY AT 508-675-7206 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SAINT DOMINIC'S PARISH FESTIVAL ANNUAL PARISH NOVENA TO SAINT DOMINIC begins on Friday, July 31st. The Novena will be held at our 8AM weekday Mass, and on Sundays following the 10AM Mass, for 9 days. MASS OF ANOINTING FOR THE SICK will be held on Friday, August 7th, at 7PM in the Parish Center. All are asked to bring the sick and homebound to this Mass. Nurses who are available ae asked to attend to aide in assisting the sick if necessary. ANNUAL PARISH BREAKFAST Our Annual Parish Breakfast will be held on Saturday, August 8th following the 8AM morning Mass. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 10 years of age. OUR PARISH PICNIC will be held on Sunday, August 9th in our Parish Center from 12 noon til 3PM. Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Ice Cream Sundaes and Beverages will be sold for 25 cents each. Following food sales, there will be games for the children on the Parish grounds. A Basket Raffle will be held in the Parish Center. Winners need not be present. GIFT ITEMS NEEDED FOR BASKET RAFFLE: New items are to be brought to the Parish Center by July 26th. Examples would be coffee items, DVDs, CDs, snacks, teas, bottles of wine, tools, pasta accessories, bath or stationery items. You may donate cash also so that we may purchase items ourselves.
