JC Renovation: - Panera will move into the current Patriot Computer Store location**. - La Pat closes when Panera opens. - Bistro summer renovations University Hall: will end all-­‐you-­‐care-­‐to-­‐eat - Manhattan Pizza will open dining, but allow for entry early November 2013, offering without payment. delivery to campus. - Starbucks replaces Jazzman’s The HUB Ike’s Renovation: - Original Burger Company will - Ike’s dining hall opens Fall close*. 2014 *Talks are underway regarding the future of Hot Spot, Sprouts, and Red Hot & Blue; one of these will relocate to the HUB to replace Original Burger Company. **Patriot Computer Store will relocate to a new location in the JC after Spring Break. •

Anytime Dining Anytime Dining will go into effect Fall 2014 and replace the current meal plan system. Anytime Dining meal plans will allow unlimited, 24 hour access to the Southside and Ike’s dining halls – giving students the ability to eat multiple small meals per day and encouraging healthy eating habits. Anytime Dining will build a sense of community at George Mason University for both on and off campus students while maintaining a higher food quality. Current students will have the option to be grandfathered into the new program and keep a traditional style meal plan. All incoming freshman will have Anytime Dining. Myth vs. Fact MYTH: There are less late night dining options on campus. FALSE! Pilot House is open 9pm-­‐4am and Southside is open 10pm-­‐4am. Southside features breakfast items, while Pilot House focuses on dinner entrees. MYTH: We are getting a Chipotle / Five Guys! FALSE! While we are trying to compromise with Chipotle, there is NO contract. There is currently no discussion with Five Guys. MYTH: We are getting a second Starbucks! TRUE! We ARE getting a second Starbucks located on the ground floor of the JC. MYTH: Finding halal and kosher food is impossible! FALSE! We offer halal and kosher food on campus… Halal: Indaroma, Southside (see supervisor) and C-­‐stores (Wrap 2go meals) Kosher: C-­‐stores (Wrap 2go meals) MYTH: Dietary restrictions equal a miserable on-­‐campus dining experience.
