STEPS FOR REGISTERING YOUR PET VIA TASSO
1. The website address is www.tasso.net.
2. Making this instruction sheet I used GOOGLE CHROME as my browser. I use it as it has as it has an outstanding
translator widget.
3. We (Dashing Dackels Kennel) only chip your pet…we do not input any data. So when you follow these steps you
should not receive the notice that this animal is already registered. In the steps below I have included the steps to
make changes to your data listed with TASSO.
4. When you first obtained your pet you should have gone to TASSO.net and registered it. After a while you should
have received a letter from TASO confirming registration. You should keep this letter with your records for your pet
as it has important info listed…such as the TKN (Tasso ID Number). You need this to make changes in your data. THIS
IS NOT THE CHIP NUMBER.
5. Again I recommend Google Chrome for your browser when following these steps. The TASSO website is only in
German and you need the translator unless you are fluent in German.

Click on the section for REGISTRATION in the center of the screen.

Next, click on REGISTER YOU PET NOW FREE!

Next, enter you pets chip number. This normally is found pasted in the EURO PASS we gave you.

Type in your pet’s chip number and then click NEXT. Note: Do not type in the DEU that is before the numbers.

I used one of our dogs as an example (Sissy). In this example it shows that she is already registered. It provides
instructions on what to do next if you want to make changes. Next, click on “Notification of change to TASSO e.V.”

In this screenshot you can see the types of information that you might want to change. If your pet dies you
should use this page and click on “Animal Died” or if you want to make an address change use “Data changed”.

Here you can click on the desired type of changes. In the case of change of address use “My address and contact
details change”. If you have incorrect data on the dog…Example: you are supposed to have a dachshund but it shows
that you own a rough collie, then this is where you make the necessary changes. It is pretty self-explanatory.
IMPORTANT: Before you can make these changes you need the TKN (Id number) provided to you via a letter. SEE NEXT PAGE.
If you follow these steps you should have no problems in registering your pet(s). HOWEVER if you do run into problems

She is a school teacher for the Bavarian school system and her hours are: M-F from 0700-1300. In order to giving her time
