 Are you looking for a fun and innovative way to educate your students about healthy lifestyle
choices? The APRIL® (Age Progression Image Launcher) Age Progression Software is a
unique computer program that illustrates how a person’s face changes with age, and shows the
effects that smoking and too much sun exposure has on your skin.
Breaking Point (from MADD Canada) Risk Reduction Strategies for Youth
(Educational Package and DVD, 14-18 year olds)
 New classroom education tool created by MADD Canada that targets – and portrays – 14 to 18
year olds who use and abuse alcohol and marijuana. The educational package and
accompanying DVD dramatize real situations of alcohol and marijuana use as well as the risks
and consequences of heavy use.

Fatal Vision Goggles (grades 7-12)
 These goggles illustrate the behavior of their peers and themselves when senses are impaired
by alcohol or substance abuse. The goggles produce a sensation of dizziness, reduced handeye coordination, and diminished ability to perform motor tasks. Contact your public health

P.A.R.T.Y (Prevent Alcohol and Risk Related Trauma in Youth)
 An injury prevention program for selected students in Grade 10 to help educate them about the
consequences of poor decision making in relation to risk taking behaviours, such as drinking
and driving. Students experience a full-day session following the path of an injury survivor.

Pig’s Lungs (wet) (Demonstration Kit, grades 3-12)
 Preserved pig’s lungs (healthy lung and lung affected by years of smoking) that demonstrates
the anatomy and physiology of a non-smoker’s lung and a smoker’s lung damaged by cancer
and emphysema.
