Welcome to Whichford Pottery
Established in 1976 by Jim and Dominique Keeling, Whichford Pottery
is a family-run business with an international reputation for
beautiful, durable and frostproof flowerpots.
We are the largest handmaking pottery in Europe; our team of over
20 craftsmen and women design and make all our flowerpots and other
ceramics using a wide range of traditional techniques.
These same skills enable us to offer our unique bespoke service - see page 7.

Visiting Us
We welcome visitors all year round to choose from our full range of
flowerpots, be inspired by our courtyard garden, watch the throwers
at work in our workshop and browse a beautiful array of
British handmade goodies and ceramics in The Octagon; all rounded
off by our café, The Straw Kitchen, serving a scrumptious menu
with a chance to soak up the rolling hills of the Cotswolds.
We also host exciting events throughout the year; to be the first to hear
of these, and other offers, sign up to our e-newsletter on our website.

Handmade By Us
Our exceptional team includes dedicated clay makers, throwers,
decorators, kiln-loaders, apprentices, glaze technicians and packers.
When we say handmade we really mean handmade and that means
we can guarantee you top quality!
Watch out for the makers’ marks stamped onto each of our pots
which shows you who threw and decorated your flowerpot.

Designed For You
Inspired by British, Japanese, Greek and Italian history, from paper to clay,
we continually produce innovative, classic and timeless designs which make
up our full range of over 1000 flowerpots.
Our unrivalled knowledge and skill enables us to make almost anything
out of clay, from personalised flowerpots to commissioned
art pieces, from thousands of ceramic poppies, to statues of Mozart.
If you have a design idea to discuss please get in touch, we love a challenge!
