S h e t a k e s R a d a m e s ’ h a n d . In t h e l i g h t f r o m t h e g r e a t r o o m s h e sees t h a t h e h a s t h e f a c e o f a B o t t i c e l l i . B e a u t i f u l , p a s s i v e , b e n i g n . T h e y head d o w n the hallway from the kitchen. She open s d o o r s as s h e g o e s , b u t all t h e b e d r o o m s a r e o c c u p i e d . R a d a m e s ’ p r e s e n c e b e h i n d he r , d o c i l e a n d q u i e t , r e m i n d s h e r o f J a c k , a n d as t h e y b e g i n u p t h e s t a i r s t o t r y t h e s e c o n d f l o o r , s h e feel s h e r e n e r g y Hag.
