The tour starts from the Mills Lane car park opposite Mitre 10 on Oteha Valley Road, Albany
and is around 2 hours on sealed roads via Albany, Coatesville, Riverhead, Taupaki, Massey,
Swanson, Henderson Valley, Titirangi, Hillsborough, One Tree Hill Domain, Ellerslie,
Kohimarama and St Heliers.
Total distance is approximately 77kms / 48mls.

Assembly at 9:30am, Driver’s Briefing at 9:45am, Tour Start at 10:00am.

Turn left out of car park.
2.
At give way turn left onto Oteha Valley Road.
3.
Take first exit at roundabout.

Ahead at traffic lights.

Ahead at traffic lights.

Next left onto Fairview Avenue (before Mobil).

At give way turn left onto Lonely Track Road.
8.
Keep right at Gills Road to follow Albany Heights Road.

At stop turn right onto State Highway 17.

At give way turn left onto Coatesville/Riverhead Highway 28.

Next left onto O’Brien Road.

Turn right onto Mahoenui Valley Road.

At give way turn left onto Riverhead Coatesville Highway for 4.5 miles (7.2 kms), keep ahead to
cross bridge and drive through Riverhead township.

Take 3rd exit at roundabout (Riverhead Road).

Pass Lathrope Road on your left.

Take first exit at roundabout to follow Old North Road.

Take 2nd exit at roundabout towards Taupaki.

Keep left to follow Nixon Road.

At intersection with Nelson Road keep ahead to follow Red Hills Road for 1.3 miles (2 kms).

At top of rise turn right onto Sunnyvale Road.

Keep left to follow Crows Road.

At stop turn right onto Birdwood Road.

At give way turn right to continue on Birdwood Road.

At Give Way turn right onto Swanson Road.

Turn left into North Candia Road.

At roundabout take 2nd exit to follow Candia Road.

At give way turn left onto Henderson Valley Road.

Travel Henderson Valley Road for 1.5 Kms, then keep right to follow Pine Ave.

At roundabout take 2nd exit to continue on Pine Ave, becoming Parrs Cross Rd.

At roundabout take 2nd exit to follow Parrs Cross Road.

At roundabout take 2nd exit onto West Coast Road.

Immediately turn left onto Glengarry Road.

At give way turn right onto Glendale Road.

Turn left onto Kaurilands Road.

At give way turn left to follow Atkinson Road.

At the end of Atkinson Road take 2nd exit at roundabout.

Immediately turn right at traffic lights onto Titirangi Road.

At roundabout take 1st exit onto Golf Road.

At roundabout 2nd exit onto Portage Road.

At roundabout 1st exit onto Kinross St.

At roundabout take 3rd exit onto Donovan Street (becomes White Swan Road at Boundary Road
intersection).

After 500 metres on White Swan Road keep right to follow Hillsborough Road.

Continue on Hillsborough Road to cross over motorway (SH20).

Turn right onto Mt Albert Road at traffic lights.

Turn left onto Pah Road at traffic lights.

Take fourth road on right onto Beckenham Avenue.

At stop turn left onto Manukau Road.

Immediately turn right into “Maungakiekie” Cornwall Park entrance.

Drive past observatory on internal park road and turn next right (at arrows) to drive through
Twin Oak Drive.

At roundabout take 3rd exit (avoid car parks).

At traffic lights turn right onto Green Lane West.

Follow Green Lane West to cross southern motorway, taking 2nd exit at roundabout to follow
Green Lane East.

Turn right onto Remuera Road at traffic lights.

Keep ahead on Remuera Road (becomes St Johns Road at Meadowbank).

Keep left at roundabout to follow St Johns Road.

At traffic lights turn right onto St Heliers Bay Road.

Keep ahead on St Heliers Bay Road veering left towards St Heliers at Riddell/Maskell Road
intersection (still following St Heliers Bay Road).

Take 1st exit at roundabout onto Polygon Road to find entrance straight ahead into Vellenoweth
