Young Life in Peru is known as Young Life Algo Nuevo and leaders in Peru have a rich tradi9on of l o v i n g t e e n a g e r s i n t h e i r neighborhoods! Young Life has a wide presence in the many types of communi9es of kids in Peru. In Lima, Peru and beyond, leaders are reaching out to high and middle school aged kids in all economic classes. They’re also running a ministry to kids with disabili9es with Young Life’s Capernaum ministry. Young Life leaders love kids at El Refugio school by teaching English classes and serving at orphanages and soup kitchens each week. Young Life leaders in Peru work 9relessly loving every kind of kid! An Expedi9on team will be able to serve alongside Young Life in variety of ways when visi9ng Young Life in Peru. They’ll be engaging with kids and leaders in their neighborhoods. Pe o p l e w h o ta ke 9 m e a n d resources to come and see Peru Young Life ministry in ac9on and help serve their community by doing a service project offer an enormous boost to Young Life Peru a n d w i l l t h e m s e l v e s b e transformed! We all need one another ’s encouragement and love and the Expedi9ons program is one of the best ways to build bridges in God’s family! This Expedi+on team will serve on work crew at a Young Life camp in Lima for 4 days before hopping on a flight to Cusco. There is an exclusive opportunity to spend 2 days hiking the famous Inca Trail and 2 days at the legendary Machu Picchu before returning to Lima-­‐ the deposit and sign up MUST be in by October 1st for this opportunity. requires a decent amount of fitness. Keep in mind that you should be in good enough
shape and health to run a mile or two, and that you must be capable of doing some
serious hiking!
• In order to cover minimum costs for this trip, we need to have a minimum of 10
par+cipants signed up.
• Each par9cipant will need 2 spiritual references in order to come on this expedi9on. Send
this spiritual reference link to 2 people who know you well, and have them fill it out.
• The total cost of the trip is due May 12th, 2016.
