April 1977 – my first step into the world of education with Lembaga Indonesia Amerika. My
first teaching assignment was preparing a group of lecturers from Institut Teknologi 10
November Surabaya for their TOEFL. I spent 12 years with LIA (Lembaga IndonesiaAmerika) teaching English at different levels, elementary up to advanced and special
classes for professionals.
