Psa. 101:3 - I will set before my eyes no vile thing. The deeds of faithless men, I hate; they will not cling to me. Psa. 119:104-105 - I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. 13 Hatred • • • • Psa.119:128 - and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path. Psa. 119:163 - I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love your law. Prov. 8:13 - To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. I hate all this,’ declares the LORD. 17 Hatred •We are commanded not to hate each other: • Matt. 5: 43 - 48 • Lev. 19:1 - Do not hate your brother in your heart . . . • I Jn. 2:9 & 11 - Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness (Cosmic Compound). Vs 11 - Whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him. 18 Hatred • I Jn. 4:20-21 - If anyone says, ‘I love God,’ yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
