Gear Oil Lubricants API GL-1 SAE 90, 140 and 250
DESCRIPTION..
Roshfrans Gear Oil Monograde exceeds the requirements of the
service category API GL-1 for optimal non extreme pressure
protection when Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)
recommend a straight mineral oil for automotive and industrial
applications.
Roshfrans Gear Oil are high technology products which combine
a perfect balance of highly refined paraffinic base stocks and one
of the latest additive’s technologies to assure extended gear life.
It is ideal to be used in passenger cars, light trucks, commercial
fleets, and other off-highway applications requiring a lubricant
with API Service Category GL-1.
APPLICATIONS..
Roshfrans Gear Oil is recommended for its use in spiral bevel
and double reduction gears, manual transmissions, flexible
couplings, tractor transmissions and final drives requiring a
straight mineral lubricant - API Service Category GL-1.
Roshfrans Gear Oil can be used in equipment operating over a
broad range of temperature according to SAE J306 Viscosity
Specification.
Roshfrans Gear Oil is also suitable for lubrication of any
equipment where copper or bronze is present and susceptible to
be attacked by oils containing sulphur-phosphorus compounds
(extreme pressure additives). These products are not to be used
to lubricate hypoid gears.

Roshfrans Gear Oil is designed to provide optimal wear
protection due to its excellent low friction properties extending
its durability during the most adverse operation conditions.
Assures a longer life to spiral bevel, helical and spur gears,
bearings and seals, and other transmission components for
automotive and industrial applications.
High viscosity index and low pour points assure a good film
strength providing an outstanding gear protection within a wide
range of temperatures.
Excellent thermal stability allows a minimum viscosity loss and
oil degradation at any working condition.
Gear lubricant with an excellent oxidation resistance reducing
oil thickening, sludge, and varnish formation due to high
operation temperatures.
Convenient viscosity behavior under any load or temperature
regime.
Suitable gear protection at high-low speeds as well as in highlow torque operations.
A defoaming additive prevents air entrapment reducing oil
oxidation even in the presence of copper or bronze.

This product is not expected to produce adverse effects on
health when used for its intended application.
Avoid prolonged contact with used oil. Continuous contact with
used oil has caused skin cancer in lab animals. Wash skin
thoroughly with soap and water.
Maintain your work clothes and maintenance areas as clean
and orderly as possible.
Lubricant containers must be kept clean and well covered.
Store them in shady areas to counteract product
contamination.
Do not pollute. Disposed of used lubricants in accordance with
local, state, and federal guidelines.
Keep this product out of reach of children and animals.
