Before assembling your Heavy Duty
Shelving Unit, please check and familiarize
yourself with all the parts listed below.

A - (4) shelves
B - (4) posts
C - (4) caps for bottom of shelving unit
D - (16) round post clips
1. Count about 5 notches up from the
bottom of the post. Attach the
first round post clip onto the post.
The clip should snap to securely
keep it in place. Make sure you
attach the clip onto the post so
that the shelf will sit on the ridged
edges (tapered edge) of the clip.
2. Lay one of the four shelves on its
side and slide the post that you
just attached the clip to through
one of the post holes on the
corner of the shelf. Make sure the
bottom of the shelf is facing
towards you.

3. Firmly push the shelf onto the
round post clip. The clip will
keep the shelf in place and
prevent it from sliding.
4. Attach a round post clip to the
remaining three posts, keeping
them at the same height as the
first post clip. Insert the
remaining three posts through
the holes on the corners of the
bottom shelf. To make sure the
shelf is sitting all the way on the
clips, take a rubber mallet and
tap down the four corners.

5. After tapping the corners of the shelf
down onto the round post clips, gently
tilt the unit to an upright position.
Attach four clips in the location you
would like your second shelf, making
sure all the clips are positioned at the
same height.

6. Lift the second shelf up and over the
unit, aligning the posts with the holes
on each corner of the shelf. Slide the
shelf down the posts and onto the
clips.

7. To make sure the shelf is sitting all
the way on the clips, take a rubber
mallet and tap the four corners of
the shelf.
8. After tapping the corners of the
shelf down onto the round post
clips, attach four clips to the
posts at the location you would
like your third shelf. Make sure all
the clips are positioned at the
same height. Lift the shelf up and
over the unit aligning the posts
with the holes in each corner of
the shelf. Slide the shelf down
onto the clips and tap the corners
of the shelf to secure it to the
clips. Attach four clips to the
posts at the location you would
like your fourth shelf to be. Lift
the fourth shelf up and over the
unit aligning the posts with the
holes in each corner of the shelf
and slide it down onto the clips.
Tap the corners of the shelf to
secure it to the clips.

After adding the fourth shelf, your
shelving unit will look like this.
10. Lift each corner of the shelving unit
and slide one of the black caps under
the post feet of the unit. The caps
prevent the unit from marking up the
floor.
