The Amazing Animal Groups
Mammal– mammals have fur/ hair such as zebras, elephants, and wolves.
Fish– fish can breath underwater. My favorite fish is then spotted bass. Fish have gills to
breath underwater.
Bird– some birds are flightless. Not all birds can fly like penguins. If the birds are flightless, they are most likely to have blubber instead of feathers.
Reptile– snakes are the most common reptile. When people hear the word reptile, they
think snake. Snakes are vertebrates because they have a back bone.
Amphibian– just like snakes, when they hear the word amphibian, they think frog. But,
that’s not the only amphibian. Salamanders are also reptiles to!
Insect– there are over 10,000,000 insects in the word. WOW! That’s a lot!
Arachnid- the most common arachnid is a spider. The banana spiders wed looks gold, but
its really not.
