Bloodworth Falls is a charming city isolated in the mountains and known for landmark
19th-century buildings. The Ravenwood Castle is the most popular tourist attraction,
bringing visitors from all over the globe. Julian Tremblay, the wealthiest person in The
Falls, is the heir to the estate. The mayor of Bloodworth Falls is hosting a charity golf
tournament in honor of Julian Tremblay at the exclusive Bloodworth Falls Country Club.
The event will raise funds for the restoration of the historical Ravenwood Castle. The
who’s who has all signed up to play and the event will certainly be the talk of the town.
The winner of the tournament will receive a lifetime membership to the club, as well as
many other luxurious prizes. You’ve seen the guest list and are deeply concerned that

many of the participants may cause mayhem having to be in the same place at the
same time. You’re going to be there, nevertheless. This is where your story begins.

BRIEF BIO
Spike Callaway is the antisocial golf caddy at the Bloodworth Falls Country Club.
Spike Callaway is definitely not one to seek out for a good conversation, as s/he
despises people in general. As long as you leave Spike Callaway alone, you’ll have
peace. An excellent caddy, Spike’s been a golf course employee since s/he turned
sixteen.
Spike will be unable to caddy in the tournament due to a recent injury, but you’ll see
Spike’s surly face at the registration table!
Ace Bunker is the second wealthiest person in all of Bloodworth Falls. Ace Bunker is
quite powerful, as s/he owns many properties in town. Ace’s pile of gold was built
from many frivolous lawsuits years ago. This tycoon has a short fuse, so don’t light it
unless you want to waste countless hours in a courtroom. Ace is a longstanding
member of Bloodworth Falls Country Club, but wouldn’t mind scoring a
complimentary membership – especially since the money would come from Julian
Tremblay’s wallet. Ace has signed up to play in the tournament, and plans to win.
Ace Bunker’s motto is there’s always more money to be made.
Birdie Fore is the cynical event planner for the Bloodworth Falls Country Club. Birdie
does whatever it takes to plan breathtaking events, and will stop at nothing to ensure
his/her events are the talk of the town. Julian Tremblay, the heir of Ravenwood
Castle, warned Mayor Divot not to hire Birdie Fore to host the after party of the
tournament, as Julian and Birdie have been foes since childhood. However, Mayor
Divot went against Julian’s advice and hired Birdie to plan the event. The mayor’s
extremely worried that Birdie will fail, and the after party of the tournament will be a
disaster.
Bogey Balata founded the company Nerd Squadron, a traveling computer support
business a few years ago. The townsfolk were shocked when s/he resigned as the
CEO six months ago to become the personal assistant of the town’s wealthiest
resident, Julian Tremblay. Many people wonder why Bogey would give up a dream
job as a business owner to run errands for an entitled heir. Nonetheless, Bogey has
signed up to play in the tournament and would love nothing more than to win a free
membership to the country club.
Olly Divot is the scandalous mayor of Bloodworth Falls. Olly is no stranger to
corruption, bribery, and blackmail. However, the mayor’s a hard worker and takes
care of the primary needs of the people of Bloodworth Falls. Things are still doomand-gloom in the town, but nobody dares to run against Olly for mayor. Olly is friends
with Julian Tremblay, the heir of Ravenwood Castle and wealthiest person in town.
That is why Olly is hosting the tournament – to kiss up to Julian. Rumors have been
floating around town that Julian may even have some dirt on Olly, as the mayor is
always overly-accommodating to Mr. Tremblay.

Andi Mulligan is the authoritarian golf course ranger at Bloodworth Falls Country
Club. Away from the golf course, Andi is obliging and friendly. On the course, Andi is
strict and follows the rules and etiquette of golf without exceptions. Andi has worked
at the country club for many years, and is a dedicated employee. Andi will be the
head golf course ranger for the tournament. That means nobody will be allowed to
cheat or get away with any nonsense.
Robin Slice is the gregarious news anchor for CBC News. Robin Slice is up for a
promotion for the coveted prime time news desk and will do anything to snag the job.
If you have news-worthy secrets, you should stay clear of Robin’s prying eyes and
power-hungry ears. Robin Slice will be attending the tournament to capture
interesting stories among the participants.
Robin has been working on a few leads of scandals brewing in the city of Bloodworth
Falls. Robin is actively hunting for enough proof to back up the story.
Sky Shank is the manager of the 19th Hole Bar and Grill at the Bloodworth Falls
Country Club. A huge fan of horror flicks, Sky often switches up the restaurant to a
more gothic-inspired theme, but the members often complain to the club manager.
Nonetheless, Sky will get what s/he wants at all costs, so stay out of Sky’s crosshairs
if you are into self-preservation. The after party and award ceremony will be held at
the 19th Hole immediately following the tournament. Sky is overseeing Birdie Fore,
who is the event planner for the party. These two have been butting heads ever
since the event was conceptualized. It will be a miracle if all goes as planned.
All 8 players are required for this mystery to flow properly. What happens if one of your required characters
cancels on you at the last minute?
First, take a deep breath…it’s not the end of the world.
1. Don’t panic. You will have to give us a call if you want to keep it a surprise (1-800-714-3951; M-F, 10AM -3PM Central)
or email [email protected] (we make every attempt to monitor this email throughout the weekends and
holidays) so we can tell you if your murderer is still intact. We can tell you what to do if a certain character cancels, and
you don’t have a replacement. It might be all right as it is and if this is the case, you’ll need to have one of your actors
‘gossip’ the information about the missing player along with their own clues.
2. If you don’t care about the surprise and / or have already looked at who the murderer is by viewing the solution cards,
simply ensure they are still playing and have one of the actors pass along the missing information in casual
conversation along with their own clues. The murderer is disclosed on the Round Three solution card and in the answer
key.
NAMETAGS  the actor nametags are below. We suggest that you either print and place into
plastic name badges (optional) and secure with a pin or clasp. Or, the most economical and trouble-free way is
to adhere fabric-safe adhesive (i.e. double-sided Scotch tape) to the back once they are printed. Note: since a
lanyard is a piece of evidence in this mystery, it’s maybe best to use the badge/clip option instead of using a
lanyard.

Get ready for an awesome day of golfing fun in the sun with your purchase of the Murder at the 19th
Hole game from MyMysteryParty.com! This party is an intriguing mystery where the players act the roles of
mysterious and bold personalities while sleuthing the intriguing story line solving whodunit! This is an excellent
choice to integrate this mystery with a golf tournament!
The story is set on a country club golf course at a charity tournament hosting by the mayor of the town
of Bloodworth Falls. The mayor is hosting the event on behalf of the wealthiest person in town – Mr. Julian
Tremblay. Mr. Tremblay is the heir of the Ravenwood Castle, a historical landmark in town. The castle needs
renovations, so the proceeds from the tournament will go towards sprucing up the castle. Yes, Mr. Tremblay
has tons of money and can renovate the castle himself, but it’s been declared a historical landmark, so he
believes the town should support the upkeep and hence, he’s having a fundraising event.

FLEXIBILITY ON FORMAT: This game is entirely flexible on how you want to host it. Since golf tournaments
vary with amount of players, expertise of players, etc. – it can vary tremendously on how long a tournament will
take. This game has built in flexibility on how you need to host it – there are no wrong or right ways to host this
other than the presentation of materials in the outlined order. In other words, as long as the rounds are played
in order and thereby, the materials are presented in order and the story flows properly – all is great!
THE GAME IS ORGANIZED INTO THREE ROUNDS AND IS STRUCTURED AS FOLLOWS:
ROUND ONE (first 9): The actors will be posted at various places (the registration desk, and holes #1-8). They
will interact with the guests and during these interactions; they are delivering clues to the players.
ROUND TWO (back 9): These clues will be delivered after the announcement of the murder on hole #10.
These pieces of evidence will be posted on holes #11-18 and as the golfers play through the course, they
collect the information.
SOLUTION ROUND THREE (after party): The actors will present their solutions at the after party / awards
ceremony – or, if your golfers will be leaving after they are finished with the course and never gathering for an
after party, you can simply post the solution or stage the murderer in handcuffs, etc. to be seen by the
participants as they are leaving. The sky’s the limit on how you wish to present the solution.

pdf file. Do not try to save the document from your web browser, it will not work. You are to save the file to your
hard drive first, and then open it with the most current version of Adobe Reader (or Acrobat). Then, you’ll input
your information, save the new file to the hard drive and add as an email attachment to your guest. Therefore,
emailing these invites to your guests will save paper costs. You will need to change the character to be played

DÉCOR FOR THE PARTY ROOM: Create a golf tournament environment starting at the registration desk and
all the way to the party area with fun golf-inspired centerpieces, bottled waters with the Bloodworth Falls
Country Club name on them, green and white balloon pieces, and of course, don’t forget the ambiance music

options on party food and golf-themed decor. You’ll need an after party area/room in which the guests gather
after the tournament is over.
SETTING: the mystery is integrated into the golf tournament. The participants of the tournament (i.e. golfers)
will play and sleuth the mystery on the golf course and then gather in the 19th Hole Bar & Grill (i.e. any party
area) after the murder occurs – and that will be your designated party area/room. Since the tournament is a
fundraising event for Julian Tremblay, you can have a male actor play this role – but it is entirely optional. He is
the wealthiest man in town, and should look and play the part. He can simply greet the guests, etc. You can
also have him make the announcement of the murder on hole 10 (again, it’s optional).

FINAL SOLUTIONS: Give the actors their round three solution cards (if you haven’t already – it’s probably
best to give them all materials in advance so they can get into character). When you are ready for your actors
to present the solutions, have the guests seated in a circle / semi-circle so they can see the actors present
their solutions. If you are in a large ballroom / outdoor patio with a microphone and stage/podium. Have the
actors come to the front of the space and use the microphone to reveal their solution. At this time, you can
serve refreshments or maybe serve dinner via buffet or a sit down served style.
The actors will take turns acting out their final solutions one at a time in the exact order that is directed by the
solution round cards. The murderer will be last and will confess.

GUEST INSTRUCTIONS
The mystery is separated into three main rounds of game play. During the first
half of the tournament, you will mingle with the characters on the suspect list (they will
have name tags on to distinguish them from others at this event). They will be staged
in various places along the course. Pay close attention to what they are saying, as it
may be clues for what happens later. Feel free to ask them questions to get a good
feel for who they are and what is going on in their lives. Some characters may have
signed up for the tournament, and some may be staff members of the country club. Be
sure to find out if anybody is playing in the tournament!

You are the antisocial golf caddy at the Bloodworth
Falls Country Club. You have been assigned to be the
starter for the tournament (the one who assists the
players as they arrive and ensure they have what they
need to play). You are unable to caddy because you
severely sprained your wrist last week. (It’s optional to
wear a wrist bandage of some kind).
You cannot stand Julian Tremblay. Julian is one of the
richest people in town (Bloodworth Falls) and a
longstanding member of the country club. You’ve been
a caddy at the club since you were a teen. Julian often
talks down to you and mistreats you while you are
caddying. However, Julian has told you that he is
leaving his entire estate to you in his Last Will because
he doesn’t want his only sibling (Sky Shark) to get a
dime. You don’t know if you believe Julian.
You don’t care for Ace Bunker. You find Ace to be
nauseating. You refuse to caddy for Ace anymore.
