my answers for question 13,14 and 15 are as follows:
q13- 2 - i converted the quarterly interest rate to semi-annual interest rate then used the formula RSni
q14- 5- i used simple for the odd periods (which was for 24 days and then for 20 days) and then
compound interest for the 9 months
q15- 4- i took (5/24 + (20+24)/365)* 12
with regard to:
q3- i used the continuous compounding formula P=Se^-ct

@tgc was just looking at the way you counted the days, if November 21st is day 325 and 8th January is
day 8 then surely the number of days would simply be 317? I'm not so sure myself but thats what did
and with that as my number of days I got 2 as my answer.

I think that the fact that the int is calculated on the 1st day of each month must come into play here. I
have no. 5.
I used 24 days and 20 days @ simple interest and compound int @ 9 months.
What do you think.
