Schultz, based on the television special by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson, stage adaptation by Eric Schaeffer Directed by Jessica McDougal Charlie Brown feels down although the cheerful holiday season is approaching. Lucy suggests he direct a school Christmas play. His friends make fun of him, but eventually he helps everyone remember the true meaning of Christmas. Matinée Performances of A Charlie Brown Christmas will be on December 2 to 5, at Victoria Hall, Cobourg (students will miss three days of school) Casting for Children 10 Years and Up Speaking roles for 6 male and 5 female characters Plus chorus roles for 9 mixed (20 roles total, speaking and non-­‐speaking) SINGING AND DANCING Required Auditions will be held in small groups. Be prepared to read sides from the show and various 1 minute monologues. These will be provided when you arrive. Also be prepared for some basic choreography as well as some singing.
