COMMITTED LEADERS IN THEIR FIELDS
PROVIDING INSIGHT INTO MEMBERS’ NEEDS
Since inception in 1997, ICAEW’s Special Interest Groups have been steered by volunteers who lead the way in each
of the sectors that we cover. The knowledge, experience and time given by the committees set the Special Interest
Groups apart from any other service. The committees represent our membership by being spread throughout the UK
and internationally, having backgrounds in all sizes of practice as well as those directly working within each industry.
Through the committees we are able to put members’ views to organisations such as HMRC, the Solicitors Regulatory
Authority and the Charity Commission, bring speakers to our conferences from the NHS, Government and the
boardrooms of the FTSE100.
