explaining that'it was lik!'lly to remain open for 'atleast two years more, and stating t.pat several
regular officers· there were subscribers to the Central Fund. It was r,esolved that ,a grant ·of· ~ ',. , ... ~ ..•
£20 be made tQwards the 'prQvision of mess equipment, cin the un'derstanding that the Central
Fund shall have first clai):ll, when the mess closes .on any sum which inay accrue to the latter

officers belonging to the mess who do not yet subscribe to the Central Fund be invited to do so.
(6) The'Chairman said that the Aldershot mess'7as not for the present asking for,a renewal

billiard room being built for that mess by the Royal Engineers, in which case a table Il1ight be hired

and frem each .of the smaller 'Cemmand,s; LendQn and Aldershot_ having twe each. Districts
.having now ceased to exist, the Cemmittee gave careful consideration to its recenstitution. ,It is
ofopiniQn that one member from each Command in the United Kingdom, and frem the' Lendon
district, together with one froin each of the following .messes:' Londen, ,Aldershet, Netley,
WOQlwich, Cosharil and Curragh-should constitute a Committee thoroughly representative of
t~e Corps, and therefore recommends to the Annual General Meet}ng that this provisional
scheme be 'adopted for one year; t4e representation .of the Indian messes remaining as at
present.
