Born in Greenville, S.C., Hammel grew up in Port Orchard, Wash., and attended South Kitsap High School. Collegiately, Hammel played at Treasure Valley Community College and was drafted by Tampa Bay in the 10th round of the 2002 MLB Draft. His MLB debut was April 11, 2006 for the Rays. Blaine Hardy - LHP - Detroit Tigers Wenatchee AppleSox: 2006 31 G, 3-1, 2.78 ERA, 25 K, 13 BB BIO: One of Milone’s 2006 Championship teammates, Blaine Hardy got his start at Lewis-Clark State College after growing up in Endmonds, Wash. and playing school ball for Edmonds-Woodway High School. At Lewis-Clark State, Hardy won the NAIA World Series in 2008. Drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 22nd round of 2008 MLB Draft, Hardy made his MLB debut June 16, 2014 for the Detroit Tigers.
