MESSAGE FROM THE GRAND KNIGHT
Brother Knights,
Deputy Grand Knight Dennis and I attended the state
convention in May. The state council does a good job
organizing the event and it is always good to hear from
them. Some key points from the State Deputy Joe

PROGRAM DIRECTOR’S NOTES
Congratulations to our
KC Scholarship Winners!
He would like us to increase volunteer hours
We must support our bishops and priests
Join us – we need more members
Pray for vocations
Thank God for all that is good
As a Catholic Men’s organization, I think we can all rally
behind these goals and make our order stronger.
Another of the great programs is the St. Michael Medal
program. Our State Chaplin, Fr. Ken O’ Hotto will send a
St. Michael Medal to all military personnel. More
information is in this Cardinal.
This Cardinal signals the end of my
term is Grand Knight. I was
honored and humbled to be your
your Grand Knight for the past
two years and together we have
achieved many good things. At
the June meeting, we will install
our new slate of officers and I
trust you will support our new
Grand Knight, Dennis Pfeifer. It
takes many men to make our council successful and I
would like to thank everyone for their support.

Tradition Continues
If you have a family member or friend serving in
the military, you can request a St. Michael
Medal to be sent to them from our State
Chaplain. There is no cost to you or the military
service person. The military person does not
need to be a Knight of Columbus or Catholic. All
you need to do is send the name of the person
in the military, their rank, branch of service, and
address to Tim Muotka and I will l forward to Fr.
Ken. He will send the medal and a prayer book
directly to the serviceman/woman.
Prayers from our Minnesota Knights’ families
are very important to our military men and
women. Continue to pray for them and their
safety.

Sometimes…things are just so simple…
Many years ago I remember hearing
or reading that in order to buy life
insurance you must first love someone. I
have come to believe that is 100% true.
Buying life insurance means you love someone… Sometimes…things are just that simple…
Thanks for taking the time to read my (short but to-the-point) note…have a great month.
