NOTE: This is NOT a “lazy day” ride! You will see your own license plate in some areas.
1. Turn right onto Hwy 68 N.
2. Turn right onto Hwy 165/Cherohala Skyway
3. Turn left onto Hwy 360 (Look for KOA signs)
4. Hwy 360 turns right (no stop sign)
5. Hwy 360 turns left at stop sign
6. Turn right onto Hwy 411
7. Turn right onto Hwy 72
8. Turn right onto Hwy 129. Proceed down the Dragon.
9. Turn left at the Deal's Gap Resort onto Hwy 28.
10. Hwy 28 merges with Hwy 19/Hwy 74
11. Turn right to stay on Hwy 28
12. Turn right onto Hwy 64 (It's 4 lane hwy here, but you're only on it for 3 ½ miles)
13. Turn right onto Patton Rd./NC Rd. #1442, then left onto Wayah Rd./NC Rd. #1310.
14. Turn left onto Hwy 19/Hwy 74
15. Turn right onto Hwy 129
16. Turn left onto Hwy 143/Cherohala Skyway
17. Go to Hwy 68, turn left and go another mile to return to Hunt's Lodge.
