At its Annual Meeting, your
credit union celebrated 50 years of
service with a Rock 'n Roll themed
Annual Meeting. Attendees were
asked trivia questions about
ABCO's history. According to NJ
Credit Union League's President/CEO Paul Gentile, “It was
amazing. What great energy and
spirit this credit union and its
members have. I was surprised
how deeply many of the members
knew the credit union's history.”
And what a history it is - from a
$1.50 deposit in 1958 ABCO has
grown today to have assets of
$140 million. One of the initial depositors was Milton J. Hershberger, the credit union's first manager and who is still the CEO today!
Mr. Hershberger (or Mr. H as he is
known) gave a spirited address
and urged members to continue to
spread the word about ABCO.

trying to establish credit. We have a way at ABCO to help our
student members who are in school or just graduating from school
to get a car and get on the path to establish a credit history.
FIRST TIME CAR BUYERS
Description
ã A loan secured by the pledge of a title to
an automobile.
Qualifying Requirements
ã Credit Union Member.
ã Current Loan Application.
ã Member must be between the ages of 16
and 25.
ã Member must not have any negative
credit or any other current auto loans.
ã Member must have at least one year on
the current job and provide proof of
income.
ã Member must choose a term of 60
months or less.
ã Member must provide proof of insurance.
ã Any underage member requires
parent/guardian signature.
ã Member must meet any and all additional
policy guidelines.

Fraud and Identity Theft are becoming more and more
prevalent. Because of this fact we have just implemented
a new fraud detection service for our ATM/Visa Check
Card and our Visa Credit Cards. This service monitors all
member transactions when using your ABCO ATM/Visa
debit and credit cards and uses specific criteria to
determine if there is a potential fraud situation occurring.
So, if we see your account being charged in Mexico or
Europe when we did not know you were traveling, then
your account may be denied or closed.
One phone call can avoid this hassle and
inconvenience. If you are planning a trip, let us know
when you are traveling and where you are going. Call
