Dear BARA Church Family and Friends,
BARA Church faithfully supports the RedLight Rescue Program of Sower of Seeds
International Ministries each month by sponsoring one or more girls or women rescued
from sexual slavery in India.
Part of this Ministry in India are the Jubilee Houses. They provide a home for 75 girls,
approximately 13-18 years of age, who are the daughters of current or rescued sex
slaves. These “Jubilee Girls” live in a family setting within the Ashagram Village of Hope
and are provided with a safe home, food, clothing, healthcare, education, vocational
training and the LOVE of Christ.

BARA Church CHRISTMAS LOVE Stocking Project
This year, BARA Church asks that you join us in sending a gift to each of these girls for
Christmas. You will be provided with a BARA Church Christmas Stocking kit. Fill these
stockings with items (suggestions listed below) that will bring a smile to a young girl's
beautiful face and be sure to add extra LOVE and PRAYERS.

How else can I help?

$ 1,800 rescues and provides one year of care for a girl
$ 900 rescues and provides for 6 months of care
$ 450 rescues and supports a girl for 3 months
$ 150 supports a rescued girl for one month
If you can’t give $150 please consider giving $75 to combine with another's gift to
rescue a woman or young girl from this injustice.
The Ashagram Village of Hope currently houses over 150 women and girls
rescued from the sex districts of India, in addition to the 75 “Jubilee Girls” daughters of rescued or current sex slaves. Help them reach their goal of
rescuing 100,000 girls from sexual slavery in India!
The cost of providing for one of the rescued girls, women or their daughters
is $150 per month. Just $150 pays for the building and utilities, healthcare,
education, food, clothing...everything these Children of God need to survive
and THRIVE!! Many rescued from sexual slavery go on to study Social
Work and other subjects and then return to work with others who have been
rescued and with those still in bondage in the massive sex trade in India.
Please consider a monthly gift to help provide for those who have been
rescued, and PRAY without ceasing for an END to human trafficking and
sexual slavery.

BARA Church CHRISTMAS LOVE Stocking Project
PACKING GUIDELINES:
All items must fit inside the BARA Church stocking, then placed inside a gallon-sized
zip-top plastic bag. As the stockings are slightly larger than the bag, place the overflow
in the bag. Anything that might leak must be individually sealed in small zip-top plastic
bags.
Please no sharp items, aerosols or flammables such as perfume or hairspray. The
stockings may be transported as checked baggage on a commercial flight.
A BARA Church Christmas card will be included in your kit. Write an uplifting message
but please do not include personal identification such as addresses. Photos of your
family and pets are welcome!
INSTRUCTIONS:
Pick up your BARA Church stocking kit from the RedLight Rescue table before or after Sunday
Gathering on October 21, 28 or November 4.
Fill your stocking. (Be sure to follow the packing guidelines)
Place your filled stocking and overflow in the provided gallon-sized zip-top plastic bag (the
stockings will be removed from the bag and re-filled before distribution to the Jubilee Girls)
Be sure to include your BARA Church Christmas card
Place $2 inside the bag and seal the zip-top (cash or check made to BARA Church)
We are asking for a $2 donation for each stocking to help cover the packaging and baggage
costs of transporting our gifts to India.
Return your packaged stocking to the RedLight Rescue table no later than
Sunday, November 11. If you are unable to meet the Nov. 11 deadline, please contact
Deandra Pugh at [email protected] to arrange for pick-up/drop-off. We must
meet this deadline so that our gifts will be carried to India by Sower of Seeds staff during
their November trip.
