On November 23, 2015 the Stokes County Sheriff Office was dispatched to a house in the
Walnut Cove area of Stokes County on a Home Invasion. When Deputies arrived they
spoke to the home owner who reported that three Black males had busted out a window
and had went inside the house where they came face to face with the them, the three
suspects then fled from the house. The home owner was not hurt.
On November 28, 2015 the Stokes County Sheriff Office was dispatched to a house in the
Tobaccoville area of Stokes County to a house break-in. When Deputies arrived the
owners of the house reported that they had returned home to find their house broken-into.
The home owner’s reported the following items stolen from the house guns, money and
electronics.
The Stokes County Detective Division were assigned the cases. During the detectives
investigation they were able to link the Walnut Cove Home Invasion and the
Tobaccoville Break-in to the same suspects and was able to obtain warrants on four
suspects.
Sheriff Mike Marshall States “I want the people of Stokes County to know that we work
hard for and will continue to fight for our victims of this great county. I also want to
thank Winston Salem Police Dept. for their assistance in this case and our Deputies for
the job they do”.
Arrested in these cases are:
Keshawn Todd Ingram, DOB: 10-24-98, B/M, 1608 W Northwest Blvd Apt M Winston
Salem NC 27104. Charged with Breaking And Entering (2Counts), Conspire to Break
and Enter (2 counts), Larceny after Break and Enter (1Count) and Possession of stolen
property (1 count). Bond: $30,000.00 secured, Court Date: 01/20/16
J’del Dewitt Clark, DOB: 12-06-97, B/M, 520 Forest Hills Ave Winston Salem NC
27104. Charged with Breaking And Entering (2Counts), Conspire to Break and Enter
(2 counts), Larceny after Break and Enter (1Count) and Possession of stolen property (1
count). Bond: $30,000.00 secured, Court Date: 01/20/16.
Lamar Demount Thomas, DOB: 02-01-97, B/M, 1608 W Northwest Blvd Apt M
Winston Salem NC 27104. Charged with Breaking and Entering (2 Counts), Conspire to
Break and Enter (2 counts), Larceny after Break and Enter (1 Count) and Possession of
stolen property (1 count). Bond: $30,000.00 secured, Court Date: 01/20/16.
William Devon-Demario Singletary, DOB: 06-20-98, B/M, 2535 Ladeara Crest Ln
Winston Salem NC 27105. Charged with Breaking and Entering (1 Counts) and
Conspire to Break and Enter (1 counts), Bond: $500.00 secured, Court Date: 01/20/16
Singletary is only charged in the Home Invasion in Walnut Cove. Ingram, Clark and
Thomas are charged in both cases.
