INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation is the official team charity of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Our primary
focus is to strengthen and support our key cornerstone programs in sports + recreation, education + literacy and
health + wellness benefitting children and families in need throughout the greater Los Angeles region. By
leveraging strategic partnerships, our mission is to harness the power of our brand and the passion our fans have
for Los Angeles into a vehicle for positive change in underserved communities.
As a participant of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Dodgers RBI Internship Program, interns will
participate and learn about all aspects of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, but will focus primarily on
supporting the Dodgers RBI Program. Interns will work closely with the Manager of the Dodgers RBI Program
to learn how the Dodgers RBI Program helps provide youth baseball and softball programming to the South Los

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties will include completing short term and long term projects under the close supervision of the
Dodgers RBI Manager. Responsibilities include working directly with Dodgers RBI partners to insure the
success of the Dodgers RBI Program, attending RBI practices and league games at Dodgers RBI sites in South
Los Angeles. Additional duties will include planning and execution of various fundraising activities and
programs, as well as general office duties related to the function of the Dodgers RBI Program. The position
requires approximately 25% of the time in office and 75% in the field.
TRAINING OUTLINE
All interns will be instructed in the methods behind all activities as well as the reasoning for them in the larger
context of the foundation as well as within the industry.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
All candidates must be available to work the majority of the 2015 Dodgers RBI season (beginning in mid-April)
through the end of the season (August). Candidates will need to be flexible to assist with office work, special
events and the Dodgers RBI West Regional Championships July 17th – 19th. This position may include working
days, evenings, and weekends depending on the Dodgers RBI Schedule and Special Event dates. Qualified
applicants should have excellent communication, organizational and highly interpersonal skills. This internship
will pay $9.00 an hour. Average work week is 5-15 hours.
