TIPS ON INCORPORATING MORE DAIRY
Keep it simple! Have it as a snack, dessert or with meals.
• A cheese stick with a piece of fruit makes a perfect snack –
it has protein and fiber to keep you full.
• A container of yogurt makes a quick grab-and-go breakfast
as you’re running out the door!
• Drink the milk at the bottom of your cereal bowl!
• Start your day with a smoothie that combines milk, yogurt,
and your favorite fruits or vegetables.
• If your kids aren’t big vegetables eaters, try topping the
vegetables with a sprinkle of reduced-fat or non-fat
cheese.
• Swap the sour cream in recipes for Greek yogurt; for every
1 cup sour cream use 1 cup Greek yogurt.
