Cabrillo Extension Class: Small Metal Sculpture, Hand Fabrication and Jewelry

Greeting Small Metal Sculpture, Hand Fabrication and Jewelry Students!
We are busy getting ready for the upcoming jewelry and metalsmithing class. As part of your class you will be receiving a
saw kit, plus copper and brass sheet and wire to use and take home. If you would like to try working with other metals,
stones, or found objects, you are welcome to bring them in and try to incorporate them into your pieces.
Important things to bring, remember, wear:



Please wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty, and good closed toed shoes for safety, and a hair
tie to tie back your hair for safety.
Please bring a sketchbook and pencil for designing, and a thin sharpie for drawing on the metal.
You can also bring any designs or inspirations that you would like to use.
