John Shimniok 2 Madison Theatre Guild PROFILES Aaron Adler (Trinculo) is thrilled to make his Madison theatrical debut! Ever since he played God in kindergarten, it’s been all downhill. More recently he’s performed on stages everywhere from Chicago to New Mexico, where he was last seen sharing the stage with a live goat in a production of Mr. Roberts. He’d like to give a shout out to his lovely wife Lauren, his fabulous friends & family, and all his inspiring students both near and far. Erin S. Baal (Director, Set Designer) Erin’s most recent design work was seen in Clybourne Park (Madison College), The Rocky Horror Show (Mercury/OUT!Cast), and Romeo & Juliet (Madison College). Her most recent performance work was as Mrs. Cratchit/Mrs. Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol (CTM) and as Olivia in Twelfth Night (Strollers). Favorite roles in Madison include Tarleton in Misalliance, Salieri in Amadeus, the Marquis De Sade in Marat/Sade, and Polonius in Hamlet. As always, much love to family and friends for all their kind support. Jim Chiolino (Producer) is thrilled to be working on another MTG production and so very excited for this wonderful trip to “Another Part of the Island!” He wishes to thank the cast and the crew, especially Phil Koenig, Damon Butler, and the fabulous Erin Baal. Thanks for everything else, David. Whitney Derendinger (Stephano) is proud to join MTG for The Tempest. A graduate of UW-Madison’s Master of Fine Arts program, some of his recent work includes Stevie in Good People (Forward Theater), Fred in A Christmas Carol (CTM), Nick in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Alley Stage), and Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (CTM/Theatre LILA). Whitney is an actor, stage combat choreographer, voice and movement coach, and is currently teaching at UW-Madison. All of my love to my stellar wife Deb, whose drive, passion for good storytelling, and boisterous laugh recharge my own.
