Congratulations to Henry & Alice Groothof, as they celebrate their 56th wedding
anniversary this week Thursday, May 4, and to Clarence & Marie Van Dorp, as they
celebrate their 53rd wedding anniversary this week Friday, May 5. We thank God with
you both for his faithfulness and love in your lives together!
Wedding Bells: Brayden Kampman & Brianna Wikkerink will be united in
Christian marriage in our church this week Saturday, May 6, at 1:00 p.m.,

Pray for Inspire 2017 - Inspire 2017 is a conference to connect people from across
the 1000+ churches in the CRC for 3 days of worship, workshops, speakers, and
conversation, happening August 3-5 in Detroit. Please join us in praying for the
event and all who will attend. This week, please pray for all of the workshop
presenters. As they share their perspectives and ideas for life and ministry, pray

The Administrative Elders meet this week Wednesday, May 3, at 1:45 in the South
Balcony Board Room.
The Search Team meets tomorrow, May 1, to interview another possible candidate
for the position of Pastor of Preaching and Congregational Care.
Prayer Meeting this Tuesday. Please join us every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the
month at 7:15 pm. We meet in the Prayer room, in the north lobby area.
Friendship Ministry meets Wednesday evenings in the chapel room of the lower
level, at 7:00 pm. Note: Friendship is not meeting this week, we’ll resume again on
May 10.
City Wide Worship Service
Join together with all other Abbotsford churches at the TOGETHER city wide worship
service. An evening of unity, worship and prayer happening tonight at the Abbotsford

host an Extreme Weather Shelter next winter you are strongly encourage to attend to
