SEEDING
CRITERIA:
* Minimum of 7 matches
* Returning State Champion
* OVERALL Season Win % (entered into Track Wrestling to be Official)
* Head to Head Competition will supersede #1, #3 and #4
*The #3 and #4 placer selection of a possible sixth match will be determined by:
1. Head to head in Tournament
2. Head to Head In Season
3. Track wrestling common opponent Sectional Seed
4. Coin flip
FORMAT:
Sixteen man bracket – double elimination.
WEIGH-INS:
7:00 am on Saturday, February 4, 2017
We will weigh in by Teams.
Division 3, Section 2 will weigh in on the Upper East Side Level of the Main Gym
Division 4, Section 1 will weigh in on the Upper West Side Level of the Main Gym
ALL Coaches are REQUIRED to bring an Official Track Wrestling Weigh-In Sheet

WRISTBANDS:
ONLY Athletes, Coaches, and Workers will be allowed on the floor at ANY Time.
Head Coaches will be given 3 Wristbands each ONLY!!!!!
1 for themselves, 2 for Assistants. Given upon arrival
You may have up to 2 managers ONLY for each School.
I will give the managers their bracelets upon arrival.
ANYONE seen on the floor without a bracelet (except for wrestlers) will be asked
to leave the floor immediately.
TEAM CAMPS:
Team Camps will be established in the Cafeteria next to the Gym.
They will NOT be allowed in the stands inside the Gym
This is where ALL of the food will be kept for the duration of the Tournament
PHOTOS/VIDEOS:
NO photo or video personnel of any kind, (parent, school or otherwise) will be
allowed on the floor at anytime, except for the designated award ceremony during
the finals.
COACH AND MGR
APPEARANCE:
In conjunction with the AIA State Tournament Guide, the appearance of the
Coaches and Managers will enhance the image of the sport of Wrestling as well
as identify all of the Teams (27 schools) at the Sectional Tournament. It is
required that all Coaches and Managers be attired in School Logo collared or
t-shirts. Coaches may also wear a shirt and tie if they prefer. Slacks or Jeans may
be worn as long as they are professional in look and not torn or ripped. Hats must
be worn as intended, not backwards or sideways and no questionable wording or
logos.
LOCKERS:
Bring your own locks and towels. They will NOT be furnished
HOSPITALITY:
There will be NO Hospitality Room at Sectionals. Please make your own arrangements.
CONCESSIONS:
Available for All, Sold by Greenway Wrestling.
