Before the class

Since you have 7 minutes for this activity, think of short scenarios where you
can incorporate the business words and phrases. Please remember that the
correct sentences aren't limited to our suggested ones.

Data Interpretation
To prepare your student, elaborate on the background of the chart/graph/table for
a minute or two. Make sure he/she was able to have a clear picture of the situation.

You may give all 5 minutes to the student this time and let him/her express
himself/herself.

(a) Use a timer and give the student a full minute for every question. You can give

Let your student propose a solution or idea that would provide a meaningful discussion.
You may give all 5 minutes to the student this time and let him/her express himself/herself.
As a conclusion to the 2017 Automobile Summit, it turns out that the number of
cars sold for the past 6 years has plummeted, and did not reach the target of at
least 30% of sales. The worsening of traffic conditions in most Asian countries
resulted to more people taking the public transportation.
As part of the automotive industry, how will you encourage the public to purchase
a car and boost the automotive industry?
Sample Answer:
I will encourage people to buy a new car by explaining how it makes their life
convenient. Owning a car is still a necessity, especially if you often travel.
