What type of volunteer work are you interested in?
Foster Care – provide care in your home for rescued animals (with support from SFAAR)
Adoption Day – assist with handling animals and introducing them to prospective owners
Transporter – transport animals to foster homes, adoption days, veterinary appointments, etc.
Home Visits – visit potential foster’s and adopter’s homes in your area to ensure a quality home environment
Reference Checks – contact veterinarians and personal references for potential volunteers or adopters
Fundraising – assisting in projects and events that will raise money for SFAAR
Administrative – data entry, mass mailings, phone calls, letters, etc.
Education – spread the word about SFAAR and animals for adoption at community events and meetings

● Volunteer at an Adoption Day with a St. Francis “Buddy”
● Attend a dog handling training session
