It’s a great clinic for spouses or individuals looking to improve their game. $15 per person. The clinic is limited to the first eight people that register. Call the Fitness Center at 739-7023. Michelle Rainwater TENNIS TIP FOR DOUBLES PLAY: Use a Spin Serve From Joe Perrone, Director of Tennis Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club A good spin serve does everything a hard flat serve can't. It gives you more time to get in to the net or ready for the next shot (hopefully a volley). It doesn't give the returner as much pace to work with, and if it's a good slice or kick, it will force them to move out of position opening more gaps on your opponent’s side of the court. For more strategy tips, join in on our many instructional clinics held throughout the week. Dr. Page Ramezani Game ... Set … Match! The 2014-15 Women’s Tennis League season is underway with EFYCC teams faring well against the competition. Our three teams (A, B & C) have a busy month coming with the following matches scheduled at Home: November 12 – B Team v. Huguenot Park; November 13 – A Team v. Marsh Landing Country Club; November 20 – A Team v. Mills Tennis Center. Our C-Team is on the road in November but returns home in December. Come out to the courts and cheer on our ladies to victory! Night Tennis Tennis enthusiasts are reminded that Epping Forest's Racquet Club features four courts that are lighted for night play. There is no charge for this convenience. Please contact the Fitness Center Front Desk to reserve a court.
