Dear Parents:
As we learn about the water cycle, we are asking that your child create a
“water cycle project”. Please assist your child with his or her project, but try to
let your child do the bulk of the work and creative design. This is a great
opportunity for some awesome bonding time!
Please see the back of this letter for project ideas. If your child has a different
water cycle project in mind, please contact his/her science teacher for
requirements.
If your child has a sibling, cousin, or friend in first grade, they are welcomed to
work as a group. Each student will still have to have a part in the presentation.
Please be sure to list all the students that participate on the project.
The purpose of this project is for your child to show his or her understanding
of the water cycle.
Thank you for your support and for encouraging your child to explore science.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Pollette and Mrs. Raiford
Due Date: Wednesday, November 18, 2015
10 points will be deducted each day that the project is late.
