School Board Opening
Lt. Colonel Oliver North comes to
our campus Monday, October 29,
2012. His topic for the evening is
"America in the New Millennia from a
Christian’s Perspective”. Col. North
is a combat decorated Marine, #1
NYT best-selling author, small
business founder, inventor with
multiple U.S. patents, columnist,
Lt. Colonel Oliver North
and the host of War Stories on the
Fox News Channel. VIP tickets are available for $100,
which includes a private reception with Col.
North. Admission and dinner tickets are available for
just $35.

Do you want to be a part of SFCA becoming a school
of excellence? The SFCA School Board would like to
announce the opening of a school board position. You
do not need to be a member of McGregor Baptist. If
you are interested, submit a cover letter, resume,
written testimony and a letter of reference from the
senior pastor of your church. Documents need to be
submitted no later than TODAY!
Hurricane Make Up Day
Yearbook Pictures, Next Week
Please mark your calendars! We will be having school
on Monday, October 15, to make up for our hurricane
day.
Student yearbook photos will be taken on September
25 for K-5 grade students IN UNIFORM and on
September 26 for 6-11 grade students IN UNIFORM.
On October 2-3 we will take photos that can be
purchased. Only those that prepay may dress up per
the student handbook. Be on the lookout for those
photo order forms next week.
Lunch with the Headmaster
Mr. Munn has set aside some time to meet with parents
over lunch. You may bring a brown bag or purchase
your lunch in the cafeteria. Please join us in room H182
between 12:00-1:00 PM on one of the dates below:
Grades 6-8 Tuesday, September 25
Grades 9-12 Thursday, September 27
Military Photos Needed
We will be putting together a power point presentation
to be used for the Educating for Eternity Banquet. We
are in need of pictures of persons who have served in
the military. If you have a picture of a loved one that
you would like to share, please email it to Tricia
Coggins. Include the person’s name, rank, and branch
of service. If you already provided us with photos for
Grandparent’s Day last year, we will be happy to use
them again.

High School Parents and Students
The high school guidance department would like to
make sure that you are aware of the guidance-high
school page on the SFCA website. We would recommend that you check the high school page at least
once a week as it is updated weekly with pertinent
high school information.

Parent Teacher Conferences
High school parent teacher conferences will be
scheduled for Monday, September 24 starting at 1:00
PM. Please email Mrs. Amy Long to sign up for a
twenty minute appointment.
