Guidelines for poster presenters Poster size and setup Poster boards have approximately the size of 1.47 meter by 0.97 meter (height X width). This is the maximum size of posters. We advise you to design a poster in the size A0 (approximately 120 cm X 84 cm) in portrait. When designing your poster, please make sure that the poster gives an overview of your work at a glance. It is better to present few data in a clear way than too much data in an incomprehensible way. By making a clear and comprehensible poster, people looking at it get a grip on your data and conclusions easily. This stimulates discussion and exchange of views. Procedures Upon arrival and registration at the beginning of the Conference, you will receive the number of your poster. The poster panels have been numbered accordingly. This means that you have to use the poster board with the corresponding number. Posters with the same subject (theme) will be grouped together as much as possible. Material to attach your poster on the panel will be provided at the Conference during registration. You can attach the poster at the beginning of the conference and it will be visible throughout the complete conference. On Tuesday June 21, from 13.00 – 14.00 hrs, there is time scheduled for poster presentation. During this hour you are asked to be present at your poster. Others can then come in contact with you, ask questions, discuss the contents etc. In addition, lunch and coffee breaks will be held closely to the location of the posters. During these breaks people can have a look at the posters too. You are requested to remove your poster after the last coffee break on Thursday June 23. If you do not remove it we cannot guarantee that you will get your poster back. Scientific secretariat During the Conference there will be a scientific secretariat. Any additional questions can be asked there. Further questions Do not hesitate to contact us for further questions.
