Demonstrative, Interrogative, and Indefinite Adjectives 11/11/16 Demonstrative = points out nouns This – singular/near That – singular/far These – plural/near Those – plural/far Interrogative = used in questions – which, whose, what. Use which to ask about one or more of a specific set of items. Ex. Which dog is yours? Indefinite = refers to any or all of a group – both, few, every, several, all, another, some, many, most, each , either, neither. Note: another, each, every, either, and neither are singular – all others are plural! Ex. Each student needs a pencil.(singular) Few students went to the park. (plural)
