Marseille’s Remedy is a traditional Thieves’ Oil blend that has been in use around the world for
hundreds of years.
There are literally hundreds of usages for Thieves` Oil and a wealth of available information
stating its effectiveness in a wide range of applications.
Marseille’s Remedy can be used in the same manner as Oregano and Tea-Tree Oil as a
preventative aid and immune system booster. It can remediate mould and has many marine
applications. Marseille’s Remedy is a tried and tested, safe and organic, treatment for many pestilent
that plague the human condition. Marseille’s Remedy is not a panacea, but its applications and usages
are numerable. When applied correctly, Marseille’s Remedy is a very effective antifungal, antibacterial,
and antiviral.
The Folk-Lore History:
In 1413, as the bubonic plague decimated France, four thieves were arrested for robbing dead and
dying plague victims - a crime punishable by burning alive. The judge offered them leniency for their
terrible crimes if they would share the secret which enabled them to expose themselves to the plague
without contracting it. The thieves explained that they were perfume makers and spice merchants who
were unemployed due to the closure of France’s sea ports. They had prepared a special mixture of
essential oils which they applied to their hands, ears, feet, masks, and temples and this protected them
from infection. As promised, the judge did not burn the men alive - he hanged them instead. Soon
after, plague doctors began to wear beak-like masks stuffed with herbs and absorbent material soaked in
the blended essential oils to protect them from disease.
Marseille’s Remedy:
The blend used by the thieves has had as many names as it has had variations. The original blend may
have contained vinegar and garlic and was known primarily as Marseille’s Vinegar. It was the first line of
defence for Undertakers, Plague Doctors and Grave Robbers for hundreds of years, and has been a
staple of pestilent prevention in every plague since its formulation. The image on the front of the bottle
is a re-mastered image of a poster advertised in 1615, stating the plague doctor was coming to town.
The Venetian bird-like mask is an archaic gas mask that held a Marseille’s blend and filtered pathogens
from the air.
Marseille’s Remedy is the most traditional and proven effective variation of the thieves’ original blend
we discover while travelling and researching its history in France. At first, our production of the product
was for personal use only. It worked so well that soon all our friends and families were requesting more
so we made the decision to share our Marseille’s Remedy with everyone.

Ingredients:
Syzygium aromaticum (organic Clove essential oil, steam distilled, Sri Lanka), Citrus limon (organic lemon
essential oil, cold pressed, Italy), Cinnamomum verum (organic Cinnamon bark essential oil, CO2extracted, Sri-Lanka), Eucalyptus polybractea (organic Blue Mallee Eucalyptus essential Oil, steam
distilled, Australia), Rosmarinus officinalis (organic Rosemary essential oil, steam distilled, France)
Usages:

Application:
Dilute with a carrier oil or soapy water and perform a skin test before any topical application.
·Apply to hands and feet to sanitize and boost immune system.
·Diffuse and breathe vapours to help fight illness, speed recovery, and clear air of pathogens.
·Using a cotton swab, dab a very small amount on acne and boils to relieve inflammation and help fight
infection. Acne pimples can be drastically reduced if Marseille’s is applied upon early onset signs of
pimples formation. (Caution! Avoid sensitive areas and use extreme moderation)
·Mix with mild soapy water to clean, sanitize and help remediate mould.
·Mix with carrier oil and apply to wood surfaces in the household. Tried and tested on ships as an
effective Teak Oil alternative to oil wood, fight rot, and eliminate mould.
·Mix one or two drops with one teaspoon of choice vinegar, and one tablespoon of warm water. Use as
a gargle to relieve sore throat, clear phlegm, and speed recovery from the common cold. This method

also helps fight oral thrush, halitosis (chronic bad breath), and many other ailments associated with oral
infections.
