How to Unclog a Bathroom Sink Drain, Part I: Using a Zip-It with Amy of amyworks, inc.
Intro
Amy: Hi, this is Amy again with amyworks and today we're gonna talk about bathroom drains and how to get
the clogs taken care of. I'm gonna show you alternatives to the drain cleaner.
Drain cleaners often don't work well; it's throwing money down the drain; environmentally, it's not good…and
there are easier ways to get your drain cleaned out and work effectively. One of those ways is using a Zip-It.

Amy: Feed it down into the drain….
Feed it down as far as you can, and then pull it out, and any hair and clogs will actually get caught on these
barbs. You want to be careful because they are a little bit sharp.
InfoScreen: Please excuse out surprisingly clean drain.
Amy: When you're working with a Zip-It, you don't have to take the stopper out, and oftentimes it's
connected to the rod underneath the sink. The Zip-It will work it's way around the mechanism that's down
there.You just continue to feed the Zip-It down in there until you come up with no more hair…or whatever it
is that's clogging your sink.
